Starting This Sunday: Free Events That Are Actually Worth It

Two of March’s biggest draws cost absolutely nothing, and the first one starts in two days.

Every Sunday in MarchSun & Sounds brings live music and a full outdoor market to Scottsdale Civic Center Mall, 3939 N. Drinkwater Blvd., Scottsdale, AZ 85251. The Merchantile Market opens at 10:00 AM, and live music runs from noon onward. Over 200 vendors, good food, and a cocktail bar on a warm Sunday afternoon. The first one is this March 1, so there is no better time to start the month right.

Right behind it, ArtsFest runs on Friday, March 6, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and on Saturday, March 7, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at the same Civic Center location. Interactive art experiences, live performances, and local food vendors fill both days. Free to attend and family-friendly.

Art All Month Long: Galleries, Openings, and Four Full Days

Scottsdale Art Week runs from Thursday, March 19, through Sunday, March 22, 2026. Galleries, collectors, and design programming take over the city for four straight days. Whether you are a longtime art follower or just curious about what is showing locally, this is worth a visit.

Raise a Glass: A Festival That Earns Its Ticket Price

The We-Ko-Pa Celebrity Wine & Spirits Festival takes over Scottsdale Civic Center on Saturday, March 21 at 1:00 PM. Wine tastings, spirits seminars, live music, and gourmet food trucks are all part of the afternoon. General admission tickets start at $85. A solid way to spend a Saturday with good company.

Two Live Shows You Will Regret Missing
