Discover DC Ranch

DC Ranch, AZ Community

If your everyday wardrobe feels stuck between “too casual” and “trying too hard,” Fitigues at DC Ranch Market Street in Scottsdale, Arizona, has exactly what you’re looking for. This is a brand that practically invented comfortable, elevated everyday wear back in 1988, and after nearly two decades away, it’s back where it started — and hitting the ground running.

The Brand That Started It All

Founders Steve and Andi Rosenstein spotted a market gap long before anyone had a name for it. People were wearing beat-up gym clothes to coffee shops and weekend errands because nothing else felt right. So the Rosensteins created what would eventually be called “luxury casual” — soft, tailored, comfortable clothing that looks intentional whether you’re picking up groceries, meeting a friend for lunch at Market Street, or just enjoying a slow Sunday in Scottsdale.

At its peak, Fitigues ran 30 stores across 20 states and sold at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Bergdorf Goodman, pulling in $30 million in annual revenue. In 2006, the founders sold to Chico’s — but over time, they lost creative control and the brand lost its soul.

How the Rosensteins Got Their Baby Back

In 2025, Steve and Andi reclaimed the brand’s intellectual property from Sycamore Partners and wasted no time. The very first thing they did was open a flagship store right here in DC Ranch. “It’s our baby again,” Steve Rosenstein said. Sales in the first month beat expectations by 50%, and the DC Ranch shop has since been described as filled with familiar faces, new friends, and slow hangs — exactly the kind of energy this place was always meant to have.

What You’ll Find Inside

Fitigues isn’t chasing trends. It has its own lane, and it stays in it:

  • Elevated fleece fabrics with a soft finish that goes well beyond anything you’d grab off a mall rack

  • Tailored cuts and draped silhouettes that look polished without feeling stiff

  • Unique embellishments — think lacy accents and stud details — that make each piece feel considered

  • Gym Collection inspired by vintage boxing culture from The Duce, the Rosensteins’ other family brand in Phoenix

  • Pups line inspired by Bookie, their black lab, for dog lovers who want that reflected in their style

  • Men’s, women’s, and kids’ collections, with the founders’ son Luke contributing to the men’s side

  • The same soft, high-quality fleece fabrics from the same supplier the brand has worked with for over 30 years

A Store That Actually Feels Like a Neighborhood Shop

Steve Rosenstein called it “probably the coolest retail location I’ve ever had.” The DC Ranch space is a large, stone-walled corner boutique surrounded by restaurants, coffee spots, and the full life of Market Street. It’s the opposite of a sterile mall environment — it feels like it belongs here, because it does.

The store held its Grand Opening in early December 2025, and it’s already one of the more talked-about additions to the Market Street lineup. The Rosensteins are also hosting community events at the store, including a fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital of Phoenix, so this is a place that puts roots down, not just one that opens and moves on.
